Yearbook MAG

One page of
Glossy whitepaper
A single sheet onto which
I am supposed to magically fit
Threeyears of heartache and boyfriends
Gossip and parties
Love andfriendship
And late night runs to 7-11
When we all just needed aslurpee
To solve our problems
Somehow I am supposed
To cram the pastthree years of our lives
Onto one shiny page
I can't seem to writeenough
Pen continuing to run across the page
In a futile attempt totranspose it all
Into every bit of free space
One single page
Filledwith all the memories
But it's not enough!
And now I'm supposed to signit
My own death warrant of
Letting go
Somehow I choose these lastwords
I can impart on you
Scribbling my name across
The last line
Therest filed with the last things I get to say
Finished
Looking at my ownwork
Watching my name smear
As my tears
Wash it all away ...
