I Hate You

I hate you for destroying my family
Ripping out the broken seams that held us all together
Destroying the bond we shared

Your strong harsh words

Tainted my heart

And broke the glass that shattered my soul

The wounds you inflicted

The people you scarred
The daughter you abused

Moving Houses

Split Parenting

New families

I hate you for ruining my life
What seemed to be a fairytale life
Was shamed by your careless practices
Triggered by misogynous concepts
And the presence of your favorite beer

Look what you've done to me
It's hard to trust
It's hard to love

When altercations arise
The flashback starts

Your angry face

Your painful smack

I hate you for what you've done to me.
I hate what you've done to yourself.
But most of all, I hate you for destroying my family.
