the mistakes we make
I wanna tell you the truth
 but now
 what’s the use
 you gave up on me
 my problems got deeper
 and you could see
 the hidden issues piled high
how my life was one big lie
it was too much for you to handle
 you had your problems too
but yours were under lock and key
 unlike me
 you didn’t let anyone see
 that depression that ate you
 from the inside out
 how you pretend
you knew what life’s all about
I show mine to a few
 so very little knew
 I was dying inside
 I was living a lie
 but you knew
took me for an attention w****
 so lonely
 had nothing better to do
 well your just a fool
 you couldn’t see
 the pain inside of me
you mistook it for a personality flaw
the anger in me you saw
 thought I just wanted attention
so you taught me a lesson
 but you were wrong
 and my secret was
you never knew me all along
