With no fears
Well respected in both worlds
In between rebel and girl
Slang spoken in the street
After her eloquent speech
Student by day
Delinquent by night
Little Ms. Goody-Goody
Can’t stay out a fight
Ivy League bound
From the inner-city
Hard core, thick skin surrounds
An intellectual, so fragile and pretty
Loud and rambunctious
Voice grows sweet and fainter
