Your skin smells of incense.

Your face radiates with the essence
Of a dove, high in flight.
You inspire hope in me,
Though you do not wear a halo
And cannot bear a cross.
You cannot answer prayers.

Your lips taste like wine
And when you talk
You bless me with your words—
I listen to you
Because I believe in you.

Today you've baptized me
In the water of your love.
Forsake me not—
I have found a sanctuary
In the movement of your body,
You are my home.

That is beautiful, absolutely phenomenal. I love it! It is gorgeous. And being one who writes about this same topic, I would love it if you would check out some of my work and lemme know what you think. Thanks so much! Oh, and agaian, this poem is fantastic! It should be published, and I look forward to reading some of your other works!
