Favorite Quote:
"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure." Mariane Williamson

My love's a poison
killing me slowly
but I can't stop drinking
this sweet addiction.
The poison spreads now
racing through my veins
pushed by my beating heart.
You kill me pleasantly,
I have no defense.
My face feels hot
my hands feel cold
my heart beats faster.
All I can do is smile
as inevitable Death
comes to great me
and I invite him
willingly in.
I knew he was coming
from the moment we met.

LOVE this poem too!!!!!! I can really relate to it! Thanks so much for all of your comments on my poems!!!!! I too feel like I have willingly invited Sorrow and Dispair into my heart and mind....they have inhabited it, and I just didn't stop it.....I was stupid....not anymore though.....
