Its raining now
Go outside
Fall on your knees
And stay there
Stare blankly
At the floor
And wait
Wait for the sun to go down
Wait for the stars to come out
Wait for the earth to stop turning
Wait for your heart to shatter
Wait for tears to come
For life to fade
It falls hard, the rain
As it hits your face
But you don’t feel it
You only feel the pain inside…
Which is much bigger
You don’t know why it hurts
Only that it does
So you stay there
On your knees
In the rain
Waiting
Waiting for eternity
