Flames imprinted on the side,
Studded,
Carries in it
Her soul.
Francesca Lia Block books,
Charles DeLint’s Newford Fairtyales,
Purple yarn
And silver beads.
A picture book of her life.
Wooden knitting needles,
Skirt patterns,
Notebooks
And inky pens.
A cell phone
Her whole life held in its microchips,
A leatherbound date book
Her whole life laid out in scribbled notes
In small white boxes.
And most important of all,
A red plastic heart box,
Containing
Her mind,
Her soul,
Her camera.
