God's half-human miracle

i walk the streets haphazardly
with my halo pinned in place
and a 'keep out' sign
laced around my heart
because my life is meinkampf
and my soul wishes to carpe diem
but i'm as fragile as a porcelain doll
tipping sideways and messy
like smeared make-up
so i plan every step and analyze every breath
making sure they're taken with precaution
since i'm so prone to accidents
bound to fall
down
at any moment
where my face will meet the asphalt
somehow
colliding with fate
