Grandpa’s company, warm–like the love of a mother.


Wishing for another minute, too busy trying to relive it.


His light grows bright, like the cigarettes he used to ignite.


The author's comments:

 This is written in a Korean poetic form called sijo. This sijo is meant for my grandpa. My love for him is everlasting. If you or someone you know has ever lost a loved one who couldn't give up smoking cigarettes because they were a part of them, read this. Enjoy!
