illusion of sadness

misery take me
sorrow be thy name
hollow i am to thee,
in the dark silence of the night no one came.
beckon me to thy throne
built upon tears of despair
as the restless spirits moan
"hidden doubts, alas life and death is never to be fair."
this kingdom of death and silence
hath no hope for the morrow
but blood wars and violence
for souls consumed by there sorrow.
a spell never to be broken
for it is only an illusion of sadness
for if happiness were to be awoken,
the kingdom would be reborn and engulfed in all its gladness.
