Love, Hate, and Jealousy

LOVE
MEANS PASSION AND FLAMES
MEANS SOMEONE'S BITTER PAIN
THE LOSER IS DISCARDED
AND WATCHES THE REMAINS
OF SOMETHING OH SO BEAUTIFUL
WHEN IT FIRST BECAME
HATE
MEANS FURY AND RESENTMENT
MEANS A PASSIONATE INVESTMENT
IN THE DESTRUCTION OF ANOTHER
WHO FIRST BECAME VIA A MOTHER
WE FORGET THE FAMILIES AND FRIENDS
OF THOSE WE EXTREMELY DISLIKE
WE THINK OF THEM A SINGULAR
THE ONE WHO WE DESPISE
JEALOUSY
MEANS A LUST OF SOMETHING
THAT WE CAN NOT POSSESS
MEANS A BURNING DESIRE
FOR AN OBJECT OF GREAT DISTRESS
WE CAN NEVER HAVE IT
IT FANS THE FLAMES
WE ARE NOT WORTHY
OF THE PRIZE IT CONTAINS

wow. i've felt all of these things more fiercely and passionately than you could imagine - especially love.
