Silent Tears

June 19, 2009

Tears fall from her broken heart
like splintered glass with broken shards
crying out for a love that heals
but disbelieves, doubts its too sureal

broken smiles plastered over pain
voices crowd filled with hate
nothing to lose, but everything to gain
scars criss-crossed shouting its too late

darkness falls, convincing hope has faded
a step away from slipping off the edge
low self worth convincing thoughts of self hatred
slowly losing footing on the ledge

I vent through my poetry it's really the only way to get out the things I feel. Like someone else said, artists (musicians, painters, writers) feel things differently than the normal people in the world and I can definetely agree with that
