Was so cold last night
Frost covered the ground
So I tiptoedoutside,
Shivered but didn't turn around.

I stood there waiting forsummer,
For steaming air so sweet
I dreamed of warmth and sun
But thecoldness bit my feet.

The air was out to get me
To tear and crack myskin
But I stood there looking to the sky,
I wouldn't let the winterwin.

I looked at the horizon
Straining only for the sun
And then atonce I saw it
A new day had begun

A new day full of hope,
Of summersfar away
And Maybe, Oh just Maybe
Summer will come today

Summer?(: I prefer the (beautiful) snow of winter! Anyway, I really like how the poem is written!
