This Feeling
I think—
Goodness, I hope!
This feeling will die…
This crazy mind
That forces me blind
To all but that one boy
Every passing face is he
Every look was packaged for me
And each secret whispers his name
When will this go away?
When will I break free?
He holds me captive
With eyes so bright
And mood so light
That I’m charmed for eternity
I don’t love him!
I don’t even know him!
…But I love him…
He appears all around me.
His imaginary words echo in my mind.
His touch, so genuine, so close;
I see him, but he’s not there.
When will this go away?
I feel insane…
I’m not mad,
Just in love.
With a boy I don’t even know…
