Do You See Me?
When you look at me,
What do you see?
Maybe it’s pain and agony
Or is there still happiness inside of me?
When you take that last glance
What do you see?
Is it the blackness of my clothes,
Or the blackness of my pitiful soul?
When you talk to me,
What do you hear?
The emptiness inside
Or the fullness of the pain?
When you really see me
For who I am- inside
Do you see me?
When you take a look in my eyes
Do you see my world now
Or the reflection of what used to be?
Now look again
Take me in
What do you see?
It is the pain and the agony
The blackness of my soul
The emptiness inside
You see my world now
What you see,
Is my world, just as you see it!
