Standing still in a field of yellow
Reaching towards the Earth's limits
Empowering the planet
Delicious, Warm
Surrounded by bodies
Bright as the moon shining on water
Grows weak at night
And suddenly switched on like
A light bulb, in the morning
All throughout the day
Growing, changing, moving
Left without a trace,
During different seasons of the year
Its golden arms light up
The world around It
Small as it may seem
When you observe it, ever so randomly
Its power is greater than you can ever imagine

I really enjoy this piece of work. I created this poem at a summer camp a few years ago, and my friends really enjoyed it...After I read it, they asked for a copy! I believe that there is something powerful about this poem, and would really love to have it published.
