'I could tell you my adventures — beginning from this morning,' said Alice a little timidly: 'but it's no use going back to yesterday, because I was a different person then.'

Knock.
Knock.
Knock.
The monsters are knocking on the door.
They're right outside,
Praying for me to open up.
I hear the whispers.
I smell the stench.

The monsters are knocking on the door.
They just want to get in.
I just just want them to go.
Screams rip my throat raw,
But stay locked inside my lips.

The monsters are knocking on the door.
Knock.
(Pound!)
Knock.
(Pound!)
Knock.
(Pound!)
I need to get out,
The pounding is breaking down the walls.
I step closer,
Past my bubble of fear,
To where anticipation joins in.

The knob clicks.
The door swings.
Blackness falls.
