Broken Heart
I lay in wait for the fires of hell to burn my memories of you
Thinking of the love we shared and how I loved you
Then you had to betray me
Trust is what you broke
Love is what you destroyed
Happiness is what will never come back
Yet worst of all is my love for you burns more than the stars in space
You said together forever, but that was a lie
You knew in the end I would fall
Even I knew this would happen
My body burns
And my tears stream
But my heart grows cold with pain
Trust is what you broke
Love is what you destroyed
Happiness is what will never come back
Yet worst of all is my love for you burns more than the stars in space
The gates of hell have already closed
But I can still see the smile on your face
Even if I'm bleeding, broken, and burning my heart hurts most
I hide in darkness praying you will go away
To erase my memories for good
Maybe then i can smile with truth
Trust is what you broke
Love is what you destroyed
Happiness is what will never come back
Yet worst of all is my love for you burns more than the stars in space
You always told me what is love without pain
Though I never thought it would be this way
I know now I can never heal my broken heart
