Autumn Senses MAG

By Anonymous

fresh cool breezes bring autumn senses to life
with the smells of expired leaves
and small fish schools
leaving imprints along the tops of streams,
and lakes slowly reach their peak
with the sounds of rushing water
flowing over rocks echoing through meadows,
but still allowing birds to sing songs
that cut through the deep blue skies
as the yellowing red sun kisses berries
that leave tingles on tongue tips
pies bloom as celebrations capture hearts
and spread bliss like seed
to grow throughout the winter
autumn completes the senses of man
as well as the hearts of children
