I rise from my slumber,
I slowly get out of bed.
Slightly optomistic, yet
apprehensive of the day
ahead. I strech out my arms,
as the sun stretches out its
rays. I begin to question,
whether I should leave or stay.
I must prepare myself, before the
day begins. It is time to embark
once more, for it is dawn again.
Once more I am left to ponder,
the outcome of the day. Perplexed
at which decision to make, I decide
to pray. There are many who depend on me, family and friends. So I must to embark oce more, for it is dawn again.
I gaze out my window, I see the pavement covered in dew. Yesterday was history, today is something new. I found a sense of serenity, I can smile again, I decide to embark once more, for it is dawn again.

In this poem, I attempted to depict the thought process of some one who had just awaken. The speaker is hesitant to leave his home just as most of us are in the mornings. The speaker then realizes that there are many who depend on him. he also realizes that the new day presents a new opprotunity. And with this new-found knowledge, he decides to embark once more.

I really liked this poem. You did a really good job with wording the thought process of someone that has just woken up. Awesome work!
