Sparks fly from the lighter
Nah didn’t work.
Click, click.
Sparks, flames. Inhale slowly.
Hold it in. Exhale.
Pass it.
Breathe slowly.
Listen to the clicks fading,
Then, returning once more.
Click, click.
Smoke fills your lungs.
Exhaling slowly, you cough.
Stifle a sigh, good hit.
You feel your brain under pressure.
Click, click.
Suck in.
Count. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5
6, 7, 8, 9, 10.
Breathe out.
Fifth time. Good hit.
You’ll stand, heart racing, cold sweat
You’ll laugh uncontrollably, eyes dilated,
You’ll tense your muscles, your veins will tingle
I’ll watch as you start fading
You’ll sleep for far too long.

This poem is so good! it has a lot of good details in it and its worded perfectly. I agree with your comments about it too. Keep writing!!

I love your comments about this poem. That's so true. I agree taht hurting you is bad but watching someone that you love hurt themselves is WAY worse. I couldn't imagine watching that. Keep writing and Check Out my work... especially Hidden Angel. I think you might like it...or I hope that you do.
