The soldiers walked down the road,

Afraid a bomb would soon explode,

Sweat dripped down their faces

They had been searching in many different places

Their rifles hung in their arms ready to fire,

the criminal would be disguised, a dangerous liar.

For a moment, the sun shone into a soldier’s eyes,

In the distance could be heard agonizing cries

Suddenly, a shot was heard, and a soldier cried out.

The bullet flew very fast, and bounced all about.

It hit poor Jimmy, he would die without a doubt

They all took cover, MEDIC! Someone did shout.
