Asphault or Asfault? This work has been published in the Teen Ink monthly print magazine.

By
Raven strands uncompromising to wind and song,
outstretched arms teeter and totter through
jungle gyms of our fathers and our father's fathers.
Summer grass releases sweet perfume under
bare heels, Imax theater opens star-crusted eyes as
handcrafted Russian doll opens world like a music box as a
stampede of melodic miracles give sugary pixie kisses in
blushing orchid.
Juvenile hearts hold spicy wishes and milky dreams
running on asphalt until
informed those twinkling stars cannot be touched.
