My Dog and Me.
From the beginning
to the ends of our days.
You never parted me.
It seems you came to stay.
We’ve grown together,
grown as best friends.
We were like Batman and Robin.
But the day I heard the dire news
I cried like a waterfall,
just after a monsoon.
The commotion you caused
was so large
it seemed like you churned the ocean.
I hope you know
that I do not blame you.
Death is just a demon,
that none of us can escape.
But the memories
we shared together
will last.
