It is Time to Jump
Stuck at the top
we both look down
hanging at the top
i realize it is time to jump
looking around at everything
purple mountains in the distance
shining bright in the sunlight
as the sun prepares to sleep
Down below a phenomenon in itself
Waves crashing down below
a deep blue see through sea
white water crashing all around
i try to reassure you
but you just wont let go
it seems to me you are not ready
but now is the time to let go
i promise everything is fine
just hold on to me
let go of everything else
even your past memories
together when we jump
we will create a new world
together when we jump
all will end and we begin again
the cold water flushes around are skin
the waves throw us around like ragdolls
and yet i find myself happy
because you let go and hung onto me
