in the light
red
white
and black
how they fade
into the shadows
fingers reach
out to touch
as the rain
hits the sky
the blood drips
off your eyes
there is no life
here in the woods
the stars shine
as the dark
hits the earth
as I watch you
there in blackness
you're there alone
and I couldn't
save you
my sweet
