see her through the blushing skylight.
swaying with the reflections of glass.
She melts in the face of the sun.
she's leaving puddles on my doorstep,
but she's forgotten to bring the rain.
I prod her reflection.
Find imperfections lying in her lap.
she has been the one.
given so much away,
and left herself yearning,
in painted dollhouse reminiscences.
