I am like a box...
worn and

torn...
holding burdens of others
spending the day...

knowing

knowing

knowing their
secrets and

holding possessions
Finding no meaning...
through these lavender scented
walls...

I'm

Just

a

box.

The author's comments:
this poem is about the way I am with my friends. I keep secrets and hold their stuff. I wrote it in our language arts class and its the most deeply personal thing I've ever written.
