I see rape,
I see war,
But I do nothing…
I see tragedy,
Souls broken to the very core,
But I do nothing…
Lies of heresy,
Trials of witchcraft,
But I do nothing…
I see people burned alive,
The human inhumanities that dwell inside,
But I do nothing…
No more words to escape them; no more cries,
No more people to run and hide,
But I do nothing…
A desolate world,
Darkened and destroyed,
But I do nothing…
A Godless world,
An empty void,
But I do nothing…

I am alone,
Nothing more to protect,
Nothing more to live for,
I did nothing…
So I have nothing,
I did nothing…
So I am…
Nothing…

The author's comments:
I wrote this poem, on the thought/idea that you are just as guilty if you were to watch a crime/injustice or be the one doing yourself...Those who watch the wold fall around them instead of trying to at least help all they can to keep this beautiful place alive, will ultamitely be left with nothing...
