Let it be day,
Let it be night,
Tomorrow's day is filled with fright,
I wish I could explain all my pain,
Eye's blood shot red,
for the moment...I'd rather be dead,
Eye's red and filled with dread, burning, swollen, and sensitive to light,
Pain is the only way that I'm still me,
Mom, Dad, Sister, and Friend
hurt me so in ways
that if I explain
I'll be in tears, in vein, in love, in pain
with words that I...just can't explain
So leave me now before you're like me,
Sad, scared, and lonely.

The author's comments:
I wrote this last year after my Poppie died. When I was having a had time. I was up one night sad remenessing memories of him. Then I started to cry.
