I wanted to fly with the angels.

You tricked me.
You raised my hopes and let go of my hand so that i would fall.
I fell so far and i didn't understand why.
Where am i falling now?
I fall to the ground broken.
covered in blood and ashes.
I let the tears fall as you watched me fall.
Now i lay with the ashes of others who have fallen.
Wondering all the while why you let me fall.
Why you lied to me when you said you loved me.
You let me fall.
Not far enough to die.
just far enough to watch me drown in my own tears.
For me to bleed into the ashes of the fallen.
