Leave Her to the Birds
The birds take her away
To heaven but she fell..
Her freedom was shattered
And her heart as well
And with that heart went her soul
She had no one to hold
No one to share her warmth
No knight in shining Armour..
A small hope of light appears
A shadow so bold and bright!
And yet she pushes it away, pushes him away
Pushing away her way back into life
And now not only has she fell
But him too
Her not knowing
That the love would have been true
But as she has tainted her heart
And crawls back pleading
The light blows her away, and pushes her away
Leaving her heart,
Her cold heart
Bleeding…
