The Ocean's Edge

When I go to the beach
I smell
the salty air
And then I
Dash down to
the water's edge
my feet kicking up sand as I
Run.
I let the white foamy water
roll over my toes
And then I
leap into a wave and
let it gently carry me
to shore again
