Change

I've heard so many say
That Change is coming soon,
It was hard to believe at first
Until last year's afternoon.
I knew it was coming,
A monument hard to escape -
It thrust itself in front of me
And found myself of late.
Change can be good sometimes
If you're ready and prepared;
It's just a mountain ready to climb
But may leave you cold and scared.
There really is quite a range
Of good and bad to come;
For one must jump to reach for Change
And grab hold of some.
