Uh-Oh, Too Slow!

I've just begun to live my life.
So much more for me to say, smell and touch.
But the clock has run out for me, no more time
For such.
How can I not resist to say,
"I thought there was more for me than this."?
Who can say,
"Was there something I missed"?
I died. Right there on the spot.
Never to be remembered, left to rot.
