The Wind Parts

The wind parts as I come
riding through,
My body sways and bumps
with the movement of my steed.
My heart is too full with delight,
For I see the sky fading quickly to night
When I finally look up
and see I am in the dark of the woods.
I think fast and pull up my cloak and my hood.
It is now night,
as the wind parts.
