Ode to Reeses

I slowly unwrap the neon orange wrapper.
The rustling of the shiny plastic is music to my ears.
An elliptical dosage of chocolate lies beneath.
I undress the cup of its ruffled brown skirt,
Running my fingers along its rigid edges.
Taking the first bite is pure heaven.
The smooth, milk chocolate and whipped peanut butter melt slowly in my mouth.
I devour in a slightly hypnotic state.
The rich flavor takes my breath away.
I may need my asthma inhaler, but it is well worth it.
Such a genius idea to encase peanut butter in a soft blanket of milk chocolate.
Upon ingesting the final bites, I encounter much heartache.
The last, final bite melts in my salivating mouth and slides down my throat.
I love you, O Reeses!
There will always be room in my heart for another.

What a great poem! Very concise. Every word counts. Has this writer submitted before?
