My Mother
There are so very many precious words that could describe my mother
If I wrote them all I fear I would be writing forever
Searching out every possible definition of perfection there ever was
She amazes me to put it blankly
I am utterly bewildered by everything that is or was ever her
Like a ray of sunlight struggling thru a torrent of rain bringing hope to life it must
Protect
It all seems so beautiful and majestic
Like a flower that no one can appreciate until it is too late
So much sad yet wondrous beauty held captive in one woman
One kind soul that taught me to be loved and love in return
I can say now with the deepest most sincere part of myself that she is the one I loved first
And from that all other loves blossomed…
