A music box
A lighter
An airplane
A firefighter

A construction worker
A Teacher
A smile, a laugh,
From a creature

A Composer
A musician
An artist
A technician

A student
A master
Life spins
Faster, Faster!

The memories of scars
The fresh new cuts
The accidents that
Leave life in ruts

A memory so sweet
A voice so old
The memory
To turn one cold

The last mistake
The last care
The last moment
To share

The last memory that plays

The music box
The lighter
The little laugh
Even a firefighter.

The author's comments:
This was actually part of a memory so the title is simple sweet and exactly what the poem is, it's about a death and life all in one.
