No Trace of Hope

May 11, 2009

Homeless men scatter the streets,
Lining up for a cup of soup,
Selling pencils and apples,
And whatever else they can get with their weathered hands.

People are living in poverty,
Where depression is their new friend.
Through the hunger, sadness, and sickness.
Leaves people without a trace of hope.
