Sick Day
Late Night Party
( In a little kids perspective )
“Go to bed!” My mommy said.
Daddy said, “right now.”
Mommy sang a goodnight song,
And gave herself a bow.
But please, I don’t wanna go.
I’m wide awake, I sware!
Besides, there’s lots of games to play,
Like Mynopoly, or Truth or Dare.
( So then, I thought a while. )
I think I know the reason.
I’m sure that I’m not wrong.
They want me to go to sleep early,
So they can party all night long!
