Knocked to the dust, and ground in the mud by each passing, steel toed heel, until the earth hugs him and tries to swallow him whole. but he fights on, clawing up, trying to answer the question what do you do, when there's no further down, and there's no reason to rage against the dying of the light? Do you stand? Or do you lie.
