I dreamt that someday
You and I could stand,
World-known and unknown,
Face to face; hand to hand.
Don’t know what I’d say,
But I’m sure of this:
I wouldn’t ask for anything.
Not a song; not a kiss.
If you gave it anyway,
I’d know that it was real.
But just to stand together,
Would be enough, I feel.
