Things I Regret
I didn’t stand up
I waited too long
I held too many grudges
I couldn’t stay strong
I betrayed your trust
I said things that hurt
I said things were true
when I knew they weren’t
I was ignorant
I was naïve
I missed opportunities
I let goals go unachieved
When you needed a smile
All I gave was a frown
When you needed me most
I simply let you down.
I’m sorry.
