For Me With You This work has been published in the Teen Ink monthly print magazine.

By
days go by like forest fires,
large and blazing, yet somehow they put me to sleep
time still ticks like my feet tap through all my favorite songs
and pages fly like all eleven bodies on gymnastics mats
in theatre class
time doesn’t stop, not for me or anyone
but I’m still feeling the same
as that night you stepped out of that door,
and turned to look at me, so bright against the darkened sky
I’m still feeling the same as every minute with you
and now as even the still lifes blur
I wish I could stop the days
but time doesn’t stop, not for me or anyone
but I’m still feeling the same
and I don’t mind so much, sitting next to you
as everything stops but the world still swirls around us
time doesn’t stop, not for me or anyone,
but it does for me with you
time still ticks like my feet tap through all my favorite songs
and pages fly like all eleven bodies on gymnastics mats
in theatre class
time doesn’t stop, not for me or anyone
but I’m still feeling the same
as that night you stepped out of that door,
and turned to look at me, so bright against the darkened sky
I’m still feeling the same as every minute with you
and now as even the still lifes blur
I wish I could stop the days
but time doesn’t stop, not for me or anyone
but I’m still feeling the same
and I don’t mind so much, sitting next to you
as everything stops but the world still swirls around us
time doesn’t stop, not for me or anyone,
but it does for me with you

Love the repitition! This flows really well, you've done a great job transfering your emotions onto paper!
