Summer Storm
The sky becomes dark,
Just listen to the thunder bark.
You must find shelter before it’s too late,
For the clouds are full of hate.
Then the clouds begin to muster;
Now behold a giant monster.
The sirens start up their distant scream,
And the rain pours down like cream.
The tornado chases at our heels,
No chance to give it our appeals.
Now home is in sight;
Oh what a night!
Now climb right up to bed,
For there are no more paths to tread.
