I love you

He sits there and tells me he loves me,
But the very next minute he leaves me bare and lonely.
Not once has he said “I Love You” and meant it,
He only says it to get one thing;
The only reason I know he’s in this.
I’m not gonna be “that girl” anymore,
I’m gonna take one for the team and end this war.
