Possessing Sense
Your vision I do not possess.
But always I have wondered- what is it that you see?
Do you see different than I?
Does the world sound different through your ears?
Taste? Feel? Smell?
Of this, I have always wondered.
I am haunted by my own inquiry.
Only through my own earthly body do I sense.
Are our senses not alike? –Exact?
Switch bodies? –Just for today, if for only one day.
Then I would know what you sense, but only thereafter.
Yet still… Do we know the same?
