All that's left
A whisper of innocence
A china doll
Cracked from falling
So much was given
So much more was taken
Something you can only give once
Gone forever, Stolen like her heart
Love ghosted like a fading shadow across time
It chocked the light and drugged the mind
Took the last thing she wasn't ready to give
Her body lay battered, Life wasted like time
Lonely gasps escape her shadow-kissed lips
Pain and regret lie stagnant in the air
She looks at herself with fresh disgust
No one knows how much he took
